Shocks for '06 Xterra with 2" Lift
I installed a Daystar 2" suspension lift (front coil spacers & rear shackles) and am looking for replacement shocks. Can anyone recommend some shocks that worked for you? Part numbers would be helpful too. Also, I will not be using the Xterra offroad that much.
Thanks! |

Re: Shocks for '06 Xterra with 2" Lift
I can't really help you with the shocks other than they use Bilsteins on stock off road models and people seem pretty happy with them. I was curious to whether you installed your spacers & shackles yourself? Did you have to replace the front shocks or is it just because you want to? What about the brake lines, did you have to increase the length on those as well? Appreciate any info. you can supply.
Thanks.

Re: Shocks for '06 Xterra with 2" Lift
I installed it myself. It was actually pretty easy. No, you do not need to replace your front shocks with this lift or anything else for that matter. They do recommend a longer shock for the rear however. I just want to put a little stiffer set of shocks under the front of my X.
