Rattling...

Anyone experience a lot of rattling from the rear deck in their Civics? Even with the stock rear speakers it rattles, and it's just getting worse with the sub in the trunk. What can I do to stop this?

first thing first, try to isolate the vibration on your rear deck. find out what is causing it to rattle so much.

look for the third eye, taillights and license plates, when I have people holding those all down for me the rattles in my car go way down. Also the sunroof panel rattles in mine.

I have the same problem with my 92 civic. The rattling in my car comes from the back of the deck. I think it would fix it if i could wedge something between it and the rear window, but i am afraid to damage the window, and it wouldnt look to pretty either. The 6.5's in my deck dont rattle at all though.

Well, not to bash my own car or anyone elses but we are talking about Civics here. The best thing to do is to investigate, isolate and eliminate each rattle one by one.
