Is it worth it to get CARFAX?

I mean... what is it that they tell you anyways? And how do they know all this stuff about so many cars?

Re: Is it worth it to get CARFAX?

I think so, for $30 bucks and unlimited reports for a lifetime, it's definitely better than the $24 per report. But it's only good if you know you're going to use it, like if you have a family who is still growing up and will need it further down the future.

I believe it tells you if the car has any reports of salvages, been in any wrecks, if the mileage is true or not and reported repairs by shops.

Salvage report is a definite though.

Basically if you don't want a lemon, get a carfax report.

Re: Is it worth it to get CARFAX?

When I did it, it wasn't $30 for lifetime unlimited. It was $24 for one, or $30 for as many as you could run IN ONE MONTH. Of course they don't clearly mention that though until after you try to run another one.

But YES YES YES it is worth it.
