I have a '02 Firebird with barely over 20k miles on it and its acting up...
when im parked and try to put it in reverse it doesnt want to go, I have to pump the clutch and then 9 times out of 10 it grinds horribly going into reverse, it doesnt do it in any other gear, someone suggested it might be the clutch linkage, could it be anything else? I want to get this fixed before i have to drive from alaska to texas next month.

Your car probably has a hydraulic clutch , check to see if the fluid is full ( should be a small resevoir next to the master cylinder ) and if that is full you can try bleeding the system. If bleeding doesnt help you may have a bad clutch cylinder or slave cylinder.
