i did this before.. but here in Pitt, PA white LEDS at radio shack are about $4 and blue, red, and all the other colors are like $1.50.
u can get your leds here http://www.eled.com/product.asp?cata..._id=E7104QWC-D nice and bright.. but what i did with one of my projects was buy those super bright LED keychains.. or those LED party lights (photons) and just use the LEDS and batteries from it. just get a small switch from Radio shack $1.15 and some wire. and your can hook up your car... get some cheap red ones for the rear lights too. but remeber.. make sure your car is primed black or really think behind the plastic on the inside near the light fixtures.. so the lights dont shine through the plastic. my 2cents |

I think that the key chain is the better alternative for me and I already have the red one d.e.l.
