4 door rear light center section

How do I get that bigass center section of my taillights off of my trunk lid? I've undone all the nuts, and now there's some sort of clip in the middle of the damn thing that I can't figure out. I don't wanna just pull that damn thing off cuz I don't wanna break it. But I need to get under there to work on some stuff and make the dynamat application easier.

the only way i found out to get it off was by breaking that plastic clip, last time i tried to get it off, it took me like half and hour and i just decided to break that sucker.

I figured out how to get it off, but in the process of putting it back on, i dropped it and it broke in half. So I had to order a new one on the internet for a 100 bucks. In order to get it off you have to take EVERYTHING off of it, including the housings for the reverse lights. Then pull the sides up so the screws all clear the holes, then slide it downward off of the clip. BE CAREFUL SO YOU DON'T CRACK IT IN HALF AND HAVE TO BUY ANOTHER ONE.

LOL, you should have just duct taped that shit up when you dropped it, thats what I would have done, it isnt like that bigass reflector serves a real purpose. I will probably have to dynamat my car soon also.
