Which rims to get on my Max , 17x7.5 or 18x8
I am about to buy konig rims for my 1998 maxima , and wondering what size is the best , should I get 17x7.5 or 18x8 with 235/45/17 or 235/40 khumos RZ's , can some one help me out , I am interested in handling, comfort and over all performance of the car with those rims ..
can I get 18x8 or is it better to stay with 17x7.5 , cuz of the pothole roads ?????? defiantly do not want to spend $800 and crack one down the way if you know what I mean ..... also anyone know what's the specs on the stocked wheels ? I have the cheapest maxima though , with reg wheels and wheel covers. thanks in advance guys... |

stay with 17s. everything is more expensive with 18s especially the tires which last less and are more prone to potholes/objects.

I have 18x8's on my max and the ride is not exactly soft. you feel every bump. I would go with the 17's for a better ride and they will still stick the road with those tires.

also the 17's will be lighter, there for putting more power to the ground.
