replacing starter on 4x4 99 s10 blazer

is it hell or what?
trying to take out the old starter and it seem like i have to take the car apart for that. in the manual is said something about lifting the engin and something about taking the front wheel drtive off( which does not look like a solution).
and just for the record god damn this spark plugs.
anyone help

The starter on that should be cake as I remember. Disconnect battery, remembering retard radio code idea if you still have factory radio. 2 bolts should hold starter up, watch out for a flat shim where the bolts hold the starter up(more than likely no shim). Be easy putting in new starter, If its not like 50lbs, it most likely a permenant magnet motor and they dont like hammers or being dropped. Drivers side middle plug, not fun. good luck

Drop the inspection cover and remove the 2 10mm bolts holding it in and you wil be fine.
