Radiator fluid on starter, 2000 chevy venture

2000 Chevy Venture Van
I have a question regarding anti-freeze leaking from,? not sure just where yet, maybe manifold gasket, but the question I have is.

Is it possible for the starter to cause a drain on the battery if it is becoming wet due to anti-freeze leaking on or into it?

I had a new battery put in and on cold starts, it may take up to 4 turns of the ignition switch before it will turn over enough to start the engine, also just prior to replacing the old 5 plus year old battery, the ABS/TC, and at times the service traction control lights would come on, if I turn off the ignition and restart they will go out.
I am fairly certian the devices are working properly, because when I am in a bit of snow, I can feel both the traction control working, and when stopping the ABS working.

Any information or suggestions are appreciated and welcomed.
