BS or not?

Ok, so I checked out this guy's cardomain. From what I saw it didn't look like he had much done to his car. He said his goal was 1000hp. I left him a comment about his goal and his mods so far. He came back telling me that I didn't know what I was doing and basically that I am a dumbass. He told me he is putting out 523HP right now and I didn't see any mods other than a turbo/intake/exhaust/fmic. Check this out and let me know what you all think.

Re: BS or not?

525 hp on a 20g?
Doubt that, I dont think they make much past 450. A sweet looking car and probably pretty quick, but hes got a long ass way to go before he can see 1000hp.

NO way in hell the stock ic pipe would blow off. I've done it several times at 17psi with a 14b. If he was pushing that kind of power I would sure as hell be amazed.

off topic I found a dsm shop in my new town

Re: BS or not?

I've seen a 20g put down about 495 locally, and they have done a little over 500 whp on high reaidng dynos like dynojets. To be getting 523 he would have to really be pushing that turbo on race gas. I'll say remotely possible, but extremely unlikely. Especially with the ratio of show to performance effort put into the car and the webpage. Any DSMer worth hs own weight in shit would be proud as hell to make that kind of power on that mod list, and a dyno sheet or timeslip would be on that page front and center Sounds like he got defensive and threw out a number. And anyone that says hs goals is 8s in the quarter while running a 12 second car is showing his lack of maturity in the sport, IMHO. But, not a bad car none the less

Re: BS or not?

I like the car, not everything is to my taste but its still nice. It is done a lot better than a lot of cars that I have seen.

As far as numbers go I would have a hard time seeing them be true. A time slip and dyno sheet should be located somewhere on that web site. my

Re: BS or not?

i frist saw the first pic, and i'm like damn nice clean DSM. then i saw his after pics, and i was like good god what did he do! yuck!

I concor with any self respecting DSMer would have a more complete mod list,a dyno graph, and a time slip. period. you don't make that kind of power and not take it to the track. he has to have a slip laying around some where.

anyways its ricer looking DSM. paint those wheels whas the first mistake.

Re: BS or not?

After further review I noticed some things that I hate. First I cant believe he painted stock wheels. Second at first i thought that was just a stock CF replacement hood, I now have seen that its an Invader or what ever, I dont dig that at all. I'm still sucker for Vertical Doors though.
