P.O.S Ford taurus
Well i printed out a wire diagram for my ford taurus power windows and i have no idea what the hell im lookin at or where to start but i think this might be the problem so any help with this wold be great.. thanks

If you made an enlarged copy it will be easier to write notes on.
Look at the diagram and find the window motor(s). Highlight the wires going to it. Use a different color highlighter to trace the interior lights. Look for common plugs, fuses, fusible links, etc. You never said how you tested the fuses. Is there power going to the fuses? |

Me too . . . I just wish these cars would last forever and never have any problems. When my power windows start acting up, I've found that just replacing the power window motor takes care of it . . . unless something is binding the window or a fuse is blown . . . broken wire . . . coroded connector. This is what fixes bad Power Window motors on Jeep Grand Cherokee's too, the brushes on the motors tend to wear out over time, and instead of selling the brushes for 25 cents, Jeep wants $80 for the whole assembly, but hey, it sure beats the manual crank doesn't it?
