Images from the battle for Monrovia, Liberia, where use of iron sights is known to be strictly prohibited. Also prohibited are aiming, assuming a supported firing stance, and any common practice of marksmanship whatsoever. Hip-Hop/Rapper/Gangsta shooting stances are mandatory, the "Glock Foh-Tay" hold being the most popular. lethality is acheived by subjecting the target to a wide swathe of area fire, simliar to unaimed indirect artillery, or scaring the enemy away with gesturing and aggressive hip-hop style dancing while firing. Points are awarded for artistic effort, style, fearsome facial expression/vocalizations and blue duct tape.

While this appears to be a well-rehearsed combat assault maneuver, this militiaman is actually trying to keep birds from crapping on his car. Note the feather duster in the left hand for effect.

And last but not least, these two are showing the proper way to fire a support weapon using the non-aiming duck-walk method, keeping at least five feet of linked ammo strung out from the weapon at any given time! Note the suitably awe-struck onlookers!

Honestly? I find nothing funny about that, and I think it's actually deeply saddening to see people who do find the humor in it. You honestly think people holding guns murdering and trying to murder their fellow countrymen over complicated civil wars and territorial wars that you know nothing about is funny? Stick to blonde jokes.

These people are living in poverty every day. Starving on the street holding machine guns, locked in a series of battles, depending on where they are, in a belt from Cyprus to Egypt to South Africa. People screaming for freedom, for country, for money, for survival in the streets and doing anything they can about it. And if that means being untrained and picking up an SK to fight against an army-for-hire controlled by a tyrant dictator, that's what they do. They were brought up to fight as children. They were brought up to pull the trigger and fire. Nothing more. Even now children are being employed as murderers, for either side. Killing their fellow men for no more than enough to buy that night's dinner. If you really think that kind of horrible tribulation is actually humorous, then I pitty you.

You think if I showed pictures of the rows and rows and rows of mangled people that were harmed by the half-porcupine half-man and his friends, people, children and women missing eyes, limbs, covered in their own and others' blood, dying on dirty tables made into makeshift operating rooms with surgeons hovering over them, trying desperately to do whatever they could for these people. But their medical supplies were hijacked by ninja turtle boy and his g-unit buddy.

[b]these are not kids acting tough. Those are real guns, and there is real fighting. And the people that took those pictures are NOT risking their lives to snap photos for your enjoyment. They're there and making that sacrafice to show the the rest of the world the terror that's happening in dozens of nation states, even as we speak.
