97 ETC, any way to turn off the DRL's? Thanks.

Personally, I like DRL's. They are a proven safety device, and, at the risk of nagging you, disabling them is not worth the additional risk to you or your passengers.

Since I live in Canada, which has had DRL's for many years, IMAO most of the arguments against DRL's are nonsense.

I would keep them enabled as added safety, but if you really want to disable them, remove the DRL fuse in the fuse box near the air filter under the hood.

Your insurance company might be giving you a discount for running them. I'm not sure if you got in an accident and proved that you had disabled them, if they could not pay??? Not sure, but might not be worth the risk!
