my civic needs a little boost

hay i have a honda civic 1.5 LSI and i need to no best way t spend 6 k on parts i get free labour to boost my bhp i want to try and get 250 + if possible engine is stand apart from k&n filter n full piper custom exhauste
and this is my first post reason i need this bhp is my bro has a mazda 323 f 2.3 turbo charged egnine and he smoked me last time we ran i mean 6 buses atleast and i carnt let him do it again

engine swap and turbo if you want to beat him, do a search on it.

kk how much you think a 500 bhp tuned up race engine be buying ready built or buying engine and then tunes . i can spend up to 50 k but i dont realy want to becoz i could always just go and by a bigger power car but the hondas always been a fav ov mine and i have seen them smoke dodges * reason being on cash won 120k on lottery over here in britan so makin good use of it

wow, 120K??? Haha, I'd be buying like an M3 or even better a new Z06. But you could easily build up a 500hp engine with that budget. Do a search, there's tons of info in these forums.

Sure...search on the forum on you'll find what you're looking for. The Interior/Audio/Security section isn't a great place to start talking about engine stuff tho.....

You won't need that much hp to beat most street cars. 500bhp is a lot in a little Civic. Check out sites like this that have dyno graphs, and steal someone elses setup: http://forums.evans-tuning.com/viewf...46f643b04effbe
