Lean Fuel Mixture on 96 Neon

My dads 1996 Neon with 38K miles has a Lean Fuel Mixture Code that routinely comes back after I reset it with my reader. In the last year the dealer has replaced the head gasket. I have replaced both O2 sensors, the EGR valve, MAPI sensor, IAC valve, spark plugs, wires, and just recently the Throttle Body Sensor switch (because the voltages were low when I checked them). I have checked Fuel pressure and checked the fuel injectors and they seam fine. I am lost...help from anyone would be greatly appreciated....Thanks.

Re: Lean Fuel Mixture on 96 Neon

That is odd because neons usually run rich if anything. I would have to think it's something to do with fuel pressure if not your fuel injectors. Again, this is speculation. I would swap in some new fuel injectors, it's easy and doesn't cost that much.

Thanks for the reply. Thats what I'll replace next. Everything else is fairly new on it unless the EGR vavle went after a year. I monitored fuel pressure two seperate times with the same results. It was well within specs listed in the Hayes Manual. Thanks for the reply...
