Speedometer issues
I was just driving around in my car (99 GSR). The night was kinda damp. I spun my tires trying to get onto the freeway and when i did, it hit the revlimiter (8200), but it only did so because i was spinning. Afterwards, the speedo was reading 0!!
I slowed down to 15mph and it all of a sudden woke up and worked again! Anyone know why this happens or has anyone had this happen to them?? Thanks

Re: Re: Speedometer issues
I had the same problem with my speedo in my 96 Civic Coupe. Speedo would work intermittantly, needle would "bounce" from 0 to current speed as it kicked in and out. Eventually it stopped working altogether. Traced all wiring and the problem was actually inside the speedo unit somewhere - ended up getting a new speedo/odometer from a scrapyard...
