92 K1500 5.7 idles rough, smells like fuel but no leak!

She runs a little rough, and reeks of fuel. I cant find a leak anywhere so I thought maybee the pressure regulator was dumping gas through its diaphram back through the vacuum line and flooding her a bit. Problem is, I cant find the regulator to check it. Anybody got an idea?

If it is a throttle body fuel injection systemthe fuel pressure regulator is built in to the throttle body itself, it is not a vacuum operated regulator , it uses a spring and atmospheric pressure to regulate fuel pressure. have you tried smelling around your charcoal canister, no particular reason just a place that comes tomind that could easily be forgotten.
