chevy silverado 2500hd change running headlight

How do I change the running lights on my truck? Left front i burnt out.I cant figure out how to get to it. I see one phillipshead that looks like it is part of it. I would greatly appreciate any help!

Thanks as usual.

Re: chevy silverado 2500hd change running headlight

with the hood open you will see two "L" shaped pins that go thru the head light down into the back of the running lights. by turning the pins to unclip them then lift them out. you should be able to get to the running lights now, you might have to slide the head lights out to get to them. There are no screws to remove to get either head/running lights out.

When in doubt, look to the manual.

Jason,

If I had the d**n manual I would not have taken the time to get on the net and join this forum. Thanks for nothing! I see certain types of people cross all types of forums, we have a few of your type in the electronic world!

Thanks again to all others that have responded!
