Question 99 E300TD block heater

I have a 99 E300 TD that I bought a year ago. The manual says it has a block heater but needs to have the cord installed. Not sure if the previous owner did that. If he did, where would I look for the plug on my car? I didn't see one when I looked tonight.

Re: 99 E300TD block heater

You should look at the front of the car under or around the front bumper. Check both sides because I don't know which side the heater installs on. Also you might pull the tow hook covers out and have a look in there.
