|
CLR 1:24 kit, need ref pics.
I was just wondering where I could get, or if anybody has nice detail pics of the 99' CLR Le mans car.
I got the black box kit, and was wondering if I could detail it a little bit more than normal

I am not sure where you would find reference material on that one, other than searching the web.
There's always this great photo of the underbody though....  And here's a top view:

935k3 built the model shown in the instructions. He did a really nice job with it. He pointed out the one major error with the kit. The grill sections between the taillights at the back of the model are not the same size. They should be. They're off by a lot actually.
I haven't built mine yet. I like the kit. I would have preferred the wheels and lug nuts were separate parts. Most important, the shape looks good to me, and the castings look good. I have rescribed the panel lines a little deeper. Another friend mentioned to make sure all of the mold release is cleaned off before painting. And to make sure the chassis isn't warped. Good kit all in all.
