Resetting the SRS warning lamp
recently installed a cd player in my 1995 318i, and since then the SRS warning lamp stays on for 3 minutes after starting the engine (I understand this is a common problem).
From another forum, I was able to reset the oil service lamps from amber & red to all green, by accessing the diagnotic module in the engine compartment, and grounding out for 4 seconds the number 7 pin (of the 20-pin array). To reset the SRS warning lamp, does anyone know which diagnostic module pin numbers to jump ?? thanks |

Doesn't work that way with the SRS lamp. You have to buy a reset tool.
