97 GEO Tracker: Wipers Wont Shut off and Lights Don't Work!
I have a 1997 Geo Tracker I just bought on a deal but now I have to fix it. The alternator over charges, the dash and tail lights don't work, and the wipers stay on all the time. Does anybody have any idea what this could be? I will be changing out the alternator tomorrow but I don't think that will solve the other problems with the wipers and lights.

The dash and tail lights could be something as simple as fuses, but the wipers staying on all the time sounds like a short in the wire. Could be a pinched wiring harness somewhere, shorting out several wires, which would cause the fuses to blow, and could cause a continuous ground to be going to the wiper relay wire. I'd replace fuses, see if they blow right away, if so, start backtracing wires to find the short.
