hello all, i love my ls. i have a 00' with the alpine tape, cd changer in my glovebox. it's factory. will the alpine indash 6 disk work, plug in correctly? thanks!

As long as you use the Alpine version you can swap them out without any issue. You can not swap a non-Alpine unit with an Alpine unit. They are not compatible. However, I don't think your glovebox unit will work any longer.

Just to clarify... You can swap a non-alpine for a non-alpine and you can swap an alpine for an alpine, but you can't interchange. I believe that if you use a PIE adapter (you'll have to Google it. I don't know anything about them), you can even continue to use the glovebox changer!
