Can Some1 PLZ Help? Want To Clear My Headlights

Hi all! Just bought a 98 GS-T about a month ago and I was wondering if anybody knows how to clear the headlights. The turning signals on the headlights. Is there like some place I can go to get step by step instructions or has anybody done it before. Im planning on getting projector headlights, but not anytime soon...so I just wanted to clear them for right now. Any help would be greatly appreciated, THANKS

I would warn against it. If you split the seal, your lamps will start to fog up from humidity. I would also warn you that projectors have a decreased light output. They tend to not illuminate the road as well. Do not screw up your stock ones. The 97-99 headlights are in high demand among the 95-96 guys. You could sell them if they are in good shape.

Alright, since you still want to do it, I will tell you how. You are going to need a razor knife, some anti-adhesive (3M is around 8 bucks for a can) and some auto adhesive and some various size screw drivers. Then you are going to pull back the rubber lining and cut it so that you keep as much of it in one piece as possible. The you will dip it in hot water to loosen the glue and then spray the anti-adhesive on it. Next you will use the screw drivers to pry the housing opening near the back of it where the turn signal is. Try to pull the orange plastic piece out. Put it back together and let it dry. The apply the auto adhesive and put the rubber strip back on. I honestly have no idea if this will work on the 2Gs, but that is how I did mine on my car. Good luck.
