Re: non-vtech to vtech

Seems like you dont know much about cars so not trying to be mean but you should stay away from VTEC(not vtech) conversions...but if you insist it should say vtec on the valve cover which is right in your face when you pop the hood...you need a vtec head and other various parts...just use the search tool and youll find endless amounts of information on vtec conversions...

Re: non-vtech to vtech

if you have the parts on the head still, ther is a little solenoid on the distributor side of the head...if that's there, its a VTEC head, if not, you're SOL....

i said on a vtec head it should say vtec on the valve cover if you would learn to read correctly...if it doesnt then check for the vtec solenoid...

Re: non-vtech to vtech

well who knows what people will do, i don't think checking the VTEC logo on the valve cover is a great method to check. IDK for sure, but does the VTEC valve cover fit on a non VTEC engine??
