flashed key three times and got code 11 "no dist. reference signal on 99 neon ..help"

replaced cylinder head and cams ,complete springs etc. on start up car ran pretty rough - i am a mechanic so i know a little lol if any one has had similar problem pls let me know timing was set all marks lined up tdc once the car ran to operating temp fans came on still running a little rough p.c.v not hooked up hose is scrap need new one? cant see that doing anything with idle engine shakes a little but check engine light came on and car stumbled and stalled now have code 11"by flashing key 3 times and reading check eng. flashes" help.............. thanx again

The code 11 means the timing belt jumped/skipped a tooth. You better double check to make sure your timing marks are lined up properly. I have seen quite a few people do this and swear they had the timing correct only to find out it was not lined up correctly.
