2000 Lumina missfire

I have a 2000 Lumina that I put new plugs and wires on, now I am getting a check engine light on and missfire code of
P1381C Misfire Detected-No EBTCM/PCM Serial Data
It is missing mostly on cylinder #3, but also on 2 and 4. I did remove the alternator to get to the back cylinders, but don't think I disconnected any other wires. I have changed wires and plugs again to rule that out. The only info I can find on this trouble code says to check grounds, 12V system, etc. Where is the Electronic Brake Traction Control Module (EBTCM) located, could I have bumped a wire while I was working on the plugs that is causing problems now? Any help appreciated!

Question Re: 2000 Lumina missfire

1381 is not a misfire code? It refers to abs controller, this requires addt'l daignostics with a bi direction scan tool. The ebcm should be under the l/s of the dash. Do you actually have a discernible misfire or are you chasing this code?

The engine is actually missing, you can feel it at an idle and see it with the diagnostic computer. I have a bidirectional scan tool but haven't worked with the EBTCM/PCM controllers before and don't know exactly what to look for. What tests can I run to check communication/performance of these control modules? Thanks for the help.
