Boooooooooooooooo.
Car got impounded last night. Turns out my license was suspended due to unpaid tickets. Now, I have to pay off all my tickets and get a signed release from the court in order to get my car out of the impound lot. So, looks like it's going to be a while before I can get my car back, and at $36 a day for parking, it's hardly going to be worth it.

hope you made sure that they inventoried EVERYTHING before it got towed away, otherwise you may find parts missing when you get it back

Update:
Car is still in impound, but went to court today for the "Driving While License Suspended in the 3rd degree" charge. Case was dismissed with prejudice (i.e. they cannot re-try me for the same charge). Fucking awesome... not only does this prevent any fines/jail-time (although I doubt that jail-time was really an option), but it also saves me a shitload on future car insurance premiums.      Should get the whip back tonight hopefully. I think the prosecutor felt bad for me because of how much I'm going to have to pay in impound fees LOL.
