GTR Poster?

Hi!
I need help finding a particular poster. All I can find of it is this rather crappy picture from Jay Lenos garage. Does anybody know where I can find this, or what to search for? It doesn't have to be the same size though.

Re: GTR Poster?

I have seen a small print of it at a model shop in London, so yes, a poster is out there. Good luck in your search. I will keep an eye out but I can't help you any more at the moment.

I saw one for sale in a Motorsports Art booth at two different events. I didn't get the card of the company selling it unfortunately. The copys I saw were numbered and had been signed by the three drivers - Lehto, Dalmas, Sekiya. They weren't what I would call posters - they were more like fine quality prints and as I recall the selling price on both occasions was close to $500. If I see one come up I will keep you in mind, but I don't know where you would be able to source one from.

Here's a better image of the image though:

I'm curious though, where did that shot from Leno's garage come from?

Re: GTR Poster?

Yeah, it's a fairly recent shot, judging by the Carrera GT nestling in there. Too bad the McLaren is barely visible.

Re: GTR Poster?

I don't know if a cheaper poster run is availble, but "The Motorsport Gallery" still sells the limited run quality print of this action painting. If you can afford one, it is even signed by Lehto, Dalmas and Sekiya!

You can visit them at:
http://www.themotorsportgallery.co.u...-mans-1995.htm

Besides this well known 3/4 front view of the 1995 winning McLaren, another immpressive one, entitled "First Time Out", portrays a rear view of #59. This second rendition of the epic '95 night drive also showcases the car in the same racing conditions.

It is sold as a giclée canvas print on the "Formula1art" website at:
https://www.tmsnet.info/secure/formu...mit.y=21&ID=51

That's a painting by Nicholas Watts and is available in the signed print edition for £110.00 from http://www.artforall.co.uk/ar-Watts_Le_Mans_1995.htm in the UK.

Thanks for the bigger picture. I think it's a really good looking painting.
The shot of Lenos garage comes from this forum-post, and is one of several. All of them are taken with a cell phone.

From the replies I've come to the conclusion that it's probably too expensive for me. I will most likely buy the one on the far right in the photograph, a painting of a Mercedes w196, the base for the original Mercedes SLR, one of the most beautiful cars ever made in my opinion.

Concerning the "First time out"-painting F1 GTR modeler suggested. Thanks for the tip, but I just don't think it's as good as the Watts-painting.

Thanks for all the help all of you!
