Ecu info
Can anyone tell which ECU does Civic Ex 97 use [D16y8]
and what ECu does B16B Type R [1.6 DOHC VTEC] use? since it's a bolt on swap in the 97 EX for B16b, If the stock ECu si used, engine won't perform to it's full potentiol and how much power drain are we looking at? B16b putsout 185 hp. What is the recommended ECU for B16b and how much can I get one for? is second hand advisable, or I have to puchase a brand new one? thanks

D16Y8 is P2P.
b16B is PCT. your best bet is ebay or honda-tech.com classified. just buy from a reputable seller.
