Exclamation 2002 4dr Yukon into 2 dr jimmy
Since GM decided to not produce the blazer or jimmy in this new body style, i decided to make my own!

Starting with a 4 door yukon denali as seen here...



I then disassembled everything

After a little work using a Makita Grinder, the middle was cut out of the truck (dremels are for suckers!!) lmao j/k

To reattach the two halves, i used JB quick weld on the inside seam.



I also resized the interior tub to fit into the now much shorter body



Here you can see the "weld" i did on the inside..

first application of body filler to make everything flat again.


doing the body work is quite a task...this is the third time around...and it's getting close



Here is the completed chassis and interior parts, i may add some detailing to the interior still

A little primer helps to check your work.. just a little more sanding and fixing a few spots...

and that's it..the conversion is completed!!
the conversion is complete!






Put the parts back on to test fit the doors and stuff..make sure everything still lines up

well..they never made the jimmy in this body style..so what the hell huh? lol.

this body was headed for the garbage bin anyway..so i figured i'd play with it first
