steering problem

hi, i have a 95.5 passport, v6 auto, and i am having some steering problem. When i turn right, it makes this rubbing noise, and i feel some resistant from the wheel. I think it does that when i turn left as well, just not as often. Sometime on dead stop, my steering wheel will lock up and wont let me turn, and i heard someting squeling. only happen when i drive slowly, like makeng a turn on a stop sign. thanks for all your help.
