4 all you cool people with piercings

i was wondering if anyone knew where i could get some red metal earrings. my friend nic lost all of his and he said they were fairly rare and yeah i tried to help him look but couldn't find any for sale anywhere. does anyone know of anyplace online or in wisconsin that he could buy some? thanks for your help

you can't use any type of household paint on piercings, they are not biocompatible.

you also didnt mention what KIND of earrings they are, cbrs? tunnels? plugs? barbells? that'll help tremendously.

As far as I know, they don't make high quality jewelry in red. I only use high quality jewelry in my piercings (guaged lobes, lip, navel: bottom ring top surface, and arm surface bar). Really your only options for implant grade metals are surgical stainless steel and titanium. titanium can be anodized to different colours, which does not change the metal, but i have never seen it in red, only more pastely colours. titanium can also be covered in niobium, but thats black.

so what do you mean? maybe you mean a stud with a butterfly backing? that could theoretically be painted red. is it even for a lobe or something else?

That is awesome. I have five peircings. Three in my left ear, two in the lobe part and one in the cartilage, and two in my right, lobe part. Was going to get my eyebrow peirced, but then heard that they peirce through a muscle and so when I get older my eyebrow will sag. Not cool.

if done competently, it wont go through a muscle. most piercings go through skin and fatty tissue only. only exceptions would be a sub clavicle, but even that doesnt go through muscle. also some "permanent" piercings go AROUND muscle, not through.

so many misconceptions out there about piercings *sigh*
