Smile Anyone Work at BlockBuster?!? I have a couple Questions

I need to get a job soon, i have a CAI and rims that i wanna buy for the new tC.

What kind of positions are available. On the application, it says "what position do you desire" I don't know what to put.

I am very organized and very good with computers...I would like to put that to use....I would even like to restock items on the shelf.

Also, what kinda pay should I expect? I dont wanna ask too much on the application.

BTW, i'm watching "The War at Home" on FOX...i just love that show, LOL.

Just write 'entry level' and cross your fingers.

Position Desired: Any
Salary Desired: Any

That's the easy way to do it if you're just going for an entry level job.

Re: Anyone Work at BlockBuster?!? I have a couple Questions

Good suggestions, but "Customer Service" is the name of the game and should work fairly well. Also list punctual and well groomed - being on time and looking decent should be important to them. I worked for BB about 10 years ago so the payscale has likely changed.

Worked at Blockbuster 10 years ago. Basically, the only position you could possibly get is a CSR (customer service rep).

Re: Anyone Work at BlockBuster?!? I have a couple Questions

I would assume at least 16, like most jobs. However you can work jobs at earlier ages but at limited to a certain amount of hours (might vary by state). As far as pay goes, I wouldn't expect more than $7.50 an hour. You'd probably be thrilled to be getting that much. I have a friend that works at Staples and makes like 7.70 an hour. Not a lot of money.

Re: Anyone Work at BlockBuster?!? I have a couple Questions

Thanks Yall.
I am only 21, and have no bills to really pay...shit if i made 7.50 i'd be thrilled!
I may look into stapels too! But BlockBuster is actually hiring, so i'd have a better shot there.

I would apply to a LOT of places that is your best bet on getting a job. Your not really putting all your eggs into one basket so to speak. Good Luck.
