dam that looks nice, only 41000 clicks, nice body and interior, AND A 5spd, that seem like a really good price to

Re: bout to buy a new maro

Think carefully about the purchase before making it!
Everything on this car is "Base" manual everything. that brings the value down considerably.

Eventhough the odometer says 41000 that doesn't mean it "only " has 41000 on it could have 141000. that model did not come with an odometer that would read past 99999.9 miles so its hard to tell the actual mileage for sure.
If you are planning a restore project for this consider the condition of the seats top and bottom bolsters are worn and torn console lid is worn and shows it pretty bad in the pics. & both R & L door arm rests are extremely "puffed" up and distorted.

The overall exterior paint will need to be re-done the clear coat is shot to hell and its just a matter of time before you will see rust if its not already present.

Couldn't get a take on the condition of the weather stripping around those t-tops and doors but be sure to consider and check for andy signs of leakage.

Also verify that the A/C was "properly" converted to 134a. If it wasn't you will have trouble with it.

Overall take on the car - considering the current bid amount on Ebay and the amount you are about to spend to fix all of this stuff, you will likely be better suited to find a higher priced car that is ready to drive and leave all the hassles and headaches behind and you will probably come out cheaper in the long run too.

Beleive me - there are much better cars out there for some sweet deals if you dont get in a hurry and just buy the first one you see

Just a guestimate here but considering the price of the car and the cost to restore (and done right- not half assed) you will have over $8000.00 in it when finished.

I hope i didn't rain on your parade too much but im just calling it as i see it from past experiences

Re: bout to buy a new maro

One of my friends has a 84 Z Camaro w/ 305 and 5spd. It will get rubber shifting gears all the way up to shifting into 4th if you try....I was amazed... As far as I know it is stock too
