Climate control prob

Hey guys, I am having some trouble with my climate controls on my 84 Crown Vic 5.0L .
I recently did some work on my dash and had to remove the climate control module, when I did, I had to diconnect a set of vaccuum hoses from the module, when I did I heard psssssst, meaning it depressurized or some thing, anyways when I hooked it back up the vent selector wasn't operating properly and was stuck on vent. I was wondering if anyone knew if and how the system needs to be bled or what needs to be done. If anyone has a haynes manual or something that could look it up, I would appreciate it.
( It's getting cold up here, need defrost badly)

Thanks,
Chris

If your heater is not defrosting or heating, then eather your vacumm harness was damaged when you unhooked it,or the Temperature Control Cable which controls the Blend-Air Door is incorrectly adjusted.I would try adjusting the control cable first,if you still cant get it working I would bet you now have a vacuum leak somewhere along the vacuum harness.
