fan problem
whenever i turn the fan knob all the way to the right (so where the air would come out by the front windshield vent), the a/c lights up whereas it shouldn't. So i assume its a bad circuit thing, not sure though, but wondering how to go about fixing that?

ok with the info u suplied i understood that when u use the defrost the a/c come on? if so in some cavys this is normal because when u use the defrost in winter the a/c kicks on to remove the moisture checks ur owners manual or any haynes manual that will tell u for sure if ur car should work that way i also need the model and year to make sure and if is a cavy or sunfire |

that is exactly correct, your a/c is suppposed to come on with your defroster, im not sure about the 2.4 but with the 2.2 you can definetely feel it in the acceleration too
