Personally I like 19's (see sig), but that is on an Avant. Not too sure on the saloon. Tyres are 235/35 19.
These are just summer wheels and tyres, I use 16's with 215 snow tyres in the winter.

go with 18's or youll lose to much torque....not only that even with 18's it will look crapy unless you lower it any way

Nononono
19" are freakin massive, i had some on my a4 and wow the difference is unbelieveable they were 235. it slows the car down like no othe in my opinion, however traction is much better you stick to the road nicely
besides that they look huge, dont want to sound like a broken record but 17" are the best 4 performance and looks i uploaded a piuc in my gallery of my car with 19" have a look and see if you wantem that big |

Well I like 19"s the best for looks, especially with a huge lip.
but for all around performance 18"X8" are really the best. Smaller rims are better for street racing in a straight line, but not in cornering, the less sidewall/stiffer the better. ![]() Heres my buddies car with 18"X8" Setup. http://www.streetgeektuning.com/00_g...f-s4/index.php If your worried about loosing torque from the 18"s just add an exhaust or a Chip, and you will increase all around. |
