leafsprings

can any chevy truck or ford leafsprings work on 87 cherokee to give it more lift so i dont have to use lift blocks if so what make and what year ? im planing on cutting the back lower quarters out so the shackels wont hit. thanks for any info.

People have had good results with S10 or Dakota leafs. You still have to reuse the Cherokee main spring as the others arent the correct length eye to eye. They are the correct width though. Lift veries depending on how many leafs you use from the doner pack. Generally, the ride ends up being stiffer than stock.

Try this link, there is a pretty good description of how to do a budget lift with Dakota leafs and F-150 springs, but be ready for a very stiff ride...

i already have 9 1/2 inches on it i wuz just trying to eliminate the blocks in the rear i always see other jeeps with big lifts and they dont have blocks how can i go about doing that. yhanks for the help
