try resetting the ecu by pulling the fuse for it out for a few minutes, that should take care of it.

the ecu is the contraption on your car that controls all your electronics on the car, it is the black box that has all the fuses in it (the easiest way for people to identify it)....the easiest way to reset it is to just disconnect the ground (the negative cable) from your battery for about 10-15 to let all the data run out of the ecu...then just connect the negative cable back to the battery and HAVE FUN RESETTING EVERYTHING ON YOUR CAR :silly2:

I don't think resetting the ECU will take care of that. My light came on one time so I brought it to the dealership and they asked if my battery was low. They checked it and it was really low. They said there is a bug in the system that turns the SRS light on when the battery is low. They said change the battery and it will go off. So I changed it, and guess what, the light was still on. Now they said it costs $40 to go in and do something. So to this day, I still have my damn srs light on

well i dont see how your SRS light has anything to do with your battery, the SRS is for the airbags, you might have a faulty airbag sensor causing both of your problems, that may have been coincendental with your project you did.
