Unhappy starter

I have 3 guys trying to install a starter on my 96 camaro. They are telling me that they cannot take it out with removing the whole transmission..... I thought this would be a 30 minute job. Is this true? If so, I will have to take it to a shop or find new friends...

Re: starter

Uh I think you need to take it to a new shop imo. I'm not 100% sure but i'm I know that a starter has NOITHING to do with the tranny. Its a one person job too. Take it to another shop for an estimate
