where is the defogger relay?

The rear defogger relay on my 94 Rodeo failed, and I got a new one to install. I can't find the relay in either the fuse box under the dash, or the fuse/relay box under the hood. Is this relay separate, or located elsewhere?

For what its worth, I checked the rear defogger switch with an ohm meter, and its working normally. The relay doesn't seem to be closing.

I'm not positive about this since your Rodeo is a 1994, but on mine the defogger relay is located behind the driver's side gray plastic "kick panel". The defogger relay is the top one (there are four relays behind that panel).

If you are sitting in the driver's seat, move your left foot all the way to the left and that panel is what I am calling the "kick panel".

Let us know if you find the relay and if it solved the problem.

I had trouble with the rear defogger as well, but the problem turned out to be broken traces on the window itself.
