Question

replace 2.9 6 with diesal

I have a 1987 ford ranger XLS with a 2.9 liter v6
the motor has 200000 miles +.
I would like to put a diesal engine in it.
has anyone done this I know you could get an 87 ranger with a 4 cyl turbo diesal.
