oil leak

i have a 1993 blazer tahoe with the vortec motor. it runs fine and sounds good. the problem is when i tach it up it leaks out of the dipstick tube and around the sending unit threads. there is also a lot of smoke coming out of the airbox when i disconnect it from the intake. any help would be great. would hate to junk the truck. thx in advance.

Have you checked your oil level? Could there be poissible too much oil or maybe the wrong weight oil in there?

Re: oil leak

I would also check to make sure that your PCV system is up to snuff. A failure here could blow oil out of the engine. I have to get off my duff and replace a cracked boot and a not so good looking socket seal on top of one of the valve covers.
