rear bearings.

i just bought a 1995 t-bird , v-8, rear wheel drive. the rear wheel was wobbling quite a bit. i took it apart and found out it wasnt the bearing but the hub that goes through it. the bearing was fine. my question is what is the part called that the bearing and hub sits in? is it a knuckle or hub and bearing assy, or ? any help would be great. thx.
