taurus rally cross?

hey i have a 97 ford taurus, its my first car and i get my licence in december, im already in love with driving and would like to start racing of some sort. rallycross seems to be the way to go for beginers and i was wondering if my taurus would even stand a chance in the stock category. any hints to get into it or anything would be helpful also

Re: taurus rally cross?

I've been getting into rally-cross myself with my new Mazda 323 and it's my experience that anything goes... sure your Taurus is probablly a big heavy under-powered peice of junk (no offense) but if that is all you got... rock what you got. Over time you will see the disadvantages and may want to get a car better suited for rally-X.
