I have read through some of the other posts here and have not seen this problem addressed. Sometimes when turning the key to the on position prior to starting I get a buzzing noise from the steering column / lower dash area and it will not start. If I turn the key back to off and then turn to on again it will not buzz and starts up just fine. I have had the warranty recall (ignition harness) work performed and it is still doing it. The car is at the dealers now for a recheck but I would like some other opinions. Also the car has just died twice now once before the recall work and once today. It will be running fine and when you get back in the gas the motor just quits, all the lights come on as normal with no motor and key in on position. I have noticed too that the idle speed when sitting in park and at normal temp will drop from 700 to 500 and give a little pop from the exhaust. Does anybody have any ideas what may be wrong and how to fix these issues. Thanks

Sounds familiar
Did you ever sort this out? It seems to be the same problem I've now got.

Yes it was actually covered under a recall for the ignition harness. Sorry was remiss in posting the follow up. And the first stealer was remiss in doing all required work. Mark |
