Unhappy tamiya ferrari fxx

Hello

I have a brand new ferrari fxx with the box and the sealed plastic parts,
and i also have the following:

-acu-stion front and rear suspension for fxx
-hobbydesign super-detail photoetch
-acu-stion fuel filer cap racing type (dont really know what this is)
-acu-stion white metal engine parts

how much do you think all this is worth?

Re: tamiya ferrari fxx

Its only worth whatever you can sell it for- and that depends only on your skill as a salesmen.

Don't ever think that because a kit cost $50 new, that you will get $50 when you sell it. Maybe you'll get more, maybe less. Most people who want a Tamiya FXX already have one. A kit isn't worth anything, at least not until you have someone with cash in hand who wants to buy it from you.

You should easily be able to get $50 from that lot. You might be able to get $100 if you're patient. If you're really patient, it might be possible to get more, and if you must sell it now you might get much less.

But don't ever assume that a model kit is somehow 'worth' something.

Re: tamiya ferrari fxx

I'd say you will lose about 65-80% on the amount you paid for all of that. I have thousands of dollars of models and upgrade/etch/detail kits. I also have thought about selling them but know they are pretty much worthless except for a few (us) that know their value.

And "us" already have it all.

Find something else to sell, lol.

I agree with MPWR. It all depends on your skill to sale. If I were you, I would try eBay first and list each item individually rather than as a lot. That way people who have the kit already can buy accessories only. Make sure you post good quality pictures and start bidding with reasonable, attractive price. I would probably start the kit at US$15 and Hobbydesign set at US$15.

Not quite sure about Acu-stion because it's always too expensive for what it is worth. I'm not interested in buying metal suspension and engine parts that are in poorer quality than stock plastic parts
