Girl problems

Well Wednesday I asked out this girl who I had a crush on for like 2 months now. I just asked her if she'd like to go watch a movie Sunday night, and she's like "Yeah, sure, that'd be great". So then I try to setup a time and everything, but then she remembers that she has this other thing to go to Sunday night (legitimate, not just making it up), and she's not sure as to what time it's at. So she tells me to call her back Friday afternoon to setup the time. Well, as my luck would have it, I called her twice today, and I couldn't get a hold of her, so I just left her a message, basically telling her that I needed to talk to her and asked her to give me a call. Well, it's like 11:20 pm, and still nothing. And this is supposed to take place Sunday. I really have no idea what to do, I mean I can't just keep calling like a bitch.

Just keep calling her, and tell her love poems in her voice mail. When she sees 136 new messages, all from you, all love poems, she'll be all over you.

The last 5 girls ive been interested in have had b/f's and I dont find out til at least a week later and I hang out with them everyday!!! More than their boys...that's just messed up. Why me!?! Now, I'm like all their best friend and *sigh*. What'll suck worse is when they all need be for a shoulder to cry on. Then i got 5 girls to deal with. Aye...I aint got that kina money!

Why does everyone try so hard? Settle down and just call once and wait for her to call back. Dont freak out, just chill.

Thanks for the Advice Rick. I did that all night long, and now i'm no longer worried, she will be all over me next time I see her.

Well anyways, on a more serious note, you guys are right. I just need to chill. I don't know, but I have this really bad feeling that it will not work out.

Girls play games which is why we love and hate them so much.

And and for the record don't ask "...a movie or something". Never say "or something". Always have a specific plan. Women like it when you take control of the situation but aren't demanding. A movie is sometimes a bad idea for a date. Nothing says "you're not interesting enough to talk to for 2 hours" like a movie does. Go for coffee, icecream, bowling et cetera. Something interactive. You don't want to be sitting staring at a screen because you'll never accomplish anything that way.

Thinking back about it, I don't think I said "or something", so I think I'm fine. It was her idea going out to a movie on a first date. Here's the thing. I was just hanging out with her, her sister, her sister's boyfriend and her best friend (female) one afternoon, and the conversation turned to dating. All of a sudden she went off on what she likes and what she doesn't like to do on a first date. She said going to a movie is a good idea for a first date.

i got plent of time to wait to. i have literally no free time these days. its not unusua for me to got on 36 hour stints of working. i was up thursday morning at 6:45am had school etc... had loads of work so i was up all night etc.. an all the next day. living on chicken sandwiches an redbull drink. (i had the same amount of caffine as 72 cups of coffee in the time i was up) eventually slept early friday night. so i was up a total of 37 hours follow by a straight 20 hours of sleep (no jokes).

but for the record, i'll think of something other than a movie for the next time. something without drink, i dont drink at all.

Well OK if it was her idea, than obviously go with it. However plan on something else afterwards when you can interact with her.

yeah chicks hate it when your every response is "well, i dont care, what do you want to do?" HAVE SOME BALLS!!!! take charge of the situation and make a decision. i was hanging out with a potential boyfriend last night and i suggested going and getting milkshakes. he said "yeah, i guess so" and totally sounded like he didnt want to. i pointed that out, said "well, what do YOU want to do?" and he said "i dont care, whatever you want to do?" the main reason this bugged me so much is that i had come up with our other plans for the night (have dinner then drive around and look for snow up in the mountains, which we did). girls like to be treated and surprised most of the time. just try and be sure that if you're surprising her it will be something she likes. you said you're friends with her sister and her sisters boyfriend -- THAT IS A TOTAL ONE-UP. think of something and ask her sisters opinion of whether or not your (potential) girl would think of it.

also, MBTN got it right on: dont call more than once. but DEFINITELY leave a message if you can and try and sound as cool and relaxed as possible. then the ball is in her court and you can live your life normally again.

Ok, so she never called me. I guess she's not interested. Next time I see her, should I at least ask her if she got my message, or not even that?
