Help me change my air filter

Hey,

i just bought an new air filter, and I've changed one in my old car. But I don't see it in my 2000 Explorer Sport. Can anybody just tell me, or give me a diagram of where my air filter is so I can dump the new one in? Is this more complicated than I think?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Help me change my air filter

Well, my 2000 4.o SOHC has the air filter/box at the front passenger corner under the hood. It has the big black hose running from it to the throttle body. If you look down on the side of the air box, you'll see two clips, each works a little different.
The other side is easy, it's just hooked. Lift off the top, remove the old filter, vacuum out any residue at the bottom....reverse to install.
